Destinations: Manjarite Beach

Manjarite Beach, is one of the main destinations for snorkeling around Labuan Bajo. The long wooden pier is surrounded by clear water with high visibility, coral reefs, and a vivid underwater world. Going snorkeling there means exploring a forest of high-grown corals in search of the variety of fish that is hiding there.

Where is Manjarite Beach and how to get there?

The peer is located on the west side of Flores Island, not far from Kelor Island and is reachable only by boat. The best way to visit is by joining one of the various boat trips that visit this location as one of their destinations.

In general, while snorkeling you should be aware of your surroundings all the time and make sure to not harm the environment. This is especially important while snorkeling in Manjarite Beach, due to the dense coral forest and the small space between you and the corals. So make sure to keep your fins as close to the surface as possible and to look around and be aware of your surroundings while exploring the fascinating underwater world.
